I’ve been coming here since they were just a little taco spot with no dine-in. I’ve always loved it. Today, like always, the tacos were delicious and the friendly service is still the same. Everything tasted fresh, and they took good care of us. Definitely will always come back.

Beef quesadilla was very tasty. Better with sour cream. Red dipping sauce too hot for this gringo. Nice first time visit. Owner helpful in translating the menu

Clean restaurant, it's somewhat organized. The food is excellent. Flavor is top notch. I love how they made the quesabirrias which are very popular among other restaurants. The only thing this restaurant needs is good service, what I mean by that is they need another waiter or waitress other than that this is highly recommend.

Well I sure was hungry for some good food. Came across the internet on a Longview Tx page. So here I am wide open , big tables, serve you self large variety of soft drinks or have you friendly server Ms. Kendra help you out. I ordered the special tamale plate with rice and salad , beans and a street taco. Man it sure was delicious and big portions. My taco has great flavor. I know I didn’t order it with onions but the whole place was a hit. They have a great variety of good eats on the menu and great atmosphere so head on down and grab a bite to eat.

Tacos Monterrey is definitely one of those hidden gems in town! The food is authentic Mexican, not your typical Tex-Mex, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the Big Burrito, which was enormous and delicious, while my wife had the quesadilla. It wasn't the traditional quesadilla we expected, but she still enjoyed it (though she liked my burrito better!). The atmosphere took a little getting used to, but the staff was friendly, and the overall experience was great. We’ll definitely be back to try more items from the menu!
